It's been a few years since the UV flashight craze and I'm suddenly in the market. Which one you got? How has it held up? AA or triple AAA preferred unless there's a better alternative. Waterproof/submersible is a huge plus. Shoot!

UV flashlights maybe good for lighting up glow in the dark jigs but what they’re marketed for tends to be detecting disgusting stains. I’ve never used mine in the bunk room but maybe I should... or maybe not! They are good at energizing jigs!

Well I suppose this will be a multi purpose tool now. TY BD for further motivating my future purchase. LOL

You might take that uv flashlight on a trip and it could be your last. Some bunks are sketchy.
Might need to pin an ad with bunk reports like bait reports...

Len FWIW I got the cheapest one and it lights up a flatfall in a few seconds better than standing in front of a deck light for a week would do.

Thanks for the replies. I take it with these buy em cheap stack em deep. No need for a tier 1 UV light in case a bed bug pops out from under my pillow and swipes it from my hands.

Update 10/12

Ordered the Esco Lite as suggested. I'm impressed at the quality you get for 13 bucks. Threw in 3 AA's and it lights up everything white and fluorescent you point it at. Apparently my vacuum maliciously ignores the edge of the carpet. LOL

Interesting find while shining my jigs. Some hold a charge longer than others. And some don't even hold a glow. But to be fair some were bought many Fred Hall shows ago. Maybe a correlation with the charge longevity vs brightness vs age?

Also, no bed bugs. :ele:

Just received mine today as well. A little on the big side, but not bad for $13.
