Unicorn CABO Boats 2400 Helmsman?

Saw this for sale up in Sacramento, sold within a day @$25K, or the broker pulled the ad due to response. Anyway, never knew CABO had a pilothouse, this is a '91, so must have been the new company making them before they went belly-up.....haha, bad pun.
Anyone know about these?

First I've ever heard of it. I'm amazed at the number of hulls Cabo produced in such a short time.

I don’t remember Cabo offering anything like that, but Being as it’s a 30 year old boat, it has probably been modified from the original config.
It probably began life with a sleek slanted windshield, and an open plan, but that eats up lot of valuable (and wet) space on a small boat!
Theres 40 pages of discussion about smaller Cabos on here, do a quick search, as I can’t seem to make the link work here.

It's flush deck like a 26 Skippy. Parker wouldn't have had a chance of moving into the west coast if those things were produced.

Uber rare 1991 Cabo Marine 2400 Helmsman As a Cabo Marine fan, this is the only Cabo 2400 I have ever seen. To my knowledge there was only 3 in production when Cabo decided to close up shop. I know at least one of those boats was never finished...

Yes, that definitely changes things. Defiance filled that niche it seems as they look very similar.

When I bought mine and picked it up at the factory in 88, John told me he was pushing 2 a week out the back door. The factory was busy with people. He had 3 hulls in various stages of doneness while I was there.
