I got this in an email and though somebody would like to see it too!!!

    Wow!!!
    Very sobering and enlightening.
Somebody spent a lot of time breaking this down by every county in the country.
Review this Unemployment map of the United States.

This is hard to believe! You need to review this map a couple of times to grasp the enormity of it.

Displayed this way sure brings the perspective up close and personal.
This is scary. If you have a job, be thankful! This graphically shows how so many families are hurting. It also explains why I am thankful to have a job.

Be sure to click the PLAY button in the middle of the map and take note of the dates above the US map as it advances month by month!

    Wow.

I had seven employees in 2007. I currently have zero! It is slower now than it has ever been in the 10 years I have been in business! It’s gone from trying to stay busy to trying to survive.

This shit is getting fucking old!

Yikes! I just became a little more grateful to have a job. Very scary, here's to hoping things get better for everyone who is feeling it.

As I spent the holiday working in the shop and missing another day on the water I am also blessed to be working!! The fish will have to wait this year!!

I pray for some changes this election so we can get this problem turned around! I am not pointing any fingers but would like to see some new faces and new ideas at both state and federal levels!!

    Looks like fuckin' cancer.

I would move to Wyoming, but, both jobs have probably already been filled.

Pretty cool that the one state I want to move to is the one state that seems to only have one or two counties in the purple......

makes me feel bad to have a great paying job and to be in hawaii, not to mention i just sold my condo and made a 60k profit and rolled into a new house that was 750k at the height of the economy but i'm grabbing it for 480k. people need to vote with their brains this november not with their hollywood popularity mentality.

Never feel bad for that Bro. Sounds like ya planned well. Also your "good" job is not one half the guys on here would want anything to do with.

If I could clear up my health issues, I'd be putting my background to good use also.

I was unemployed for over a year and Jess for almost a year. She finally started working again a few months ago full time and I started last month on a 5 month freelance job. We weathered the storm but, who knows what will happen after this job is up.

    Good luck to everyone.
