Looks like your rockfish depth is simply 360' not the Fed's waypoint contour lines you have to connect all the dots. Much easier and easier to fish.

This is not from an "official" CDFW site, but appears to have been re-formatted and posted on an "enthusiast" site.
Albacore limit is incorrect, in addition to bass size limit, does not reflect the other sub-limits for rockfish species, and they call a California Scorpionfish a "Sculpin", which the official site would probably only do if they listed both names.

Good post.
The two fish limit on Swordfish perplexes me.
How many BD'ers have taken their second swordie for the day, and then scratched their head, and said 'Hey, wonder what the limit on these pesky things is anyways?'.

Has anybody got a 'limit' of swordies this year in Cali?
If so, my hat is off to them.
Great question, Greg!!!

This is going to happen more often as the fishery receives more pressure.

I hope I get to ask it myself in the future.

Which is exactly what I said, and what the OP said in the "2020 Updated" post at 12:50 this afternoon.

I guess it would be a good idea for the OP to edit his original post to make it clear that THOSE regulations are old, and that the current ones are way down on page 4. Or, better yet, kill this thread and re-start with current regs.

Don’t forget about the other requirements.

Ocean white fish- no limit, but.... the fillets have to be a minimum of 6 1/2 inches.

Sheep head can’t be filleted at sea... not sure if that one has changed or not, but I don’t fillet at sea just to be on the safe side.

There’s prolly more that I am ignorant to.
