I was there in early June 2-3 years ago. We hired a guide and in 5 hours, the guide caught one lady fish, we caught nothing. But the guides wife runs a fossil hunting operation and it was a blast. We found close to 100 shark teeth including a nearly complete megladon tooth. We were the only boat we saw fishing in 3 days there.

Overall, I wasn’t impressed with Tybee at all. Charleston is cool for the history

The hurricanes have really blown that place out. I have a bunch of family in Savannah and we've never had much success in the marshes or out of Tybee.
