Oh, the boat will eat the chop up, no doubt. My concern is just how fun it’ll be bobbing around in 3’ windchop from the south and 2-3’ swell from the wsw. Especially when we can go the next day.
If we don’t fish Saturday, we will still get Carrie behind the helm for some really awesome practice.
As for the current, 4 knots is quite a bit. I’d want very good visibility. With the wind/swell from the south, I’d pass on running the gap between the south and sunken jetty. No reason to get into the chop that soon. Let the sunken jetty block some of the icky, depending on what the ebb current is doing. Either way, I’d want decent visibility.
