Would love to get a group of boats together to chase tuna when the weather cooperates. I have 3 boats that want to get in on the action but have never gone. All boats completely capable. Any one interested?

Sounds fun! Cordell banks area? If so, I may be in! Look like a 45-50 mile run! about 20 miles west of Cordell appears to be the temp break! Not hella solid, but it's there!

I'll be running when ever we get a chance! Right now, the only real water within striking distance is off of Pt Arena. That area is historically fantastic when the conditions are there, and that break looks amazing. If we get any flat water i'll definitely be making that run.

Good deal!! Any suggestions on gear? I've only fished for tuna on the sea of Cortez. Cedar plugs, etc.

Go to outdoor pro shop, ask for the manager Mike, and tell him Karl sent you to get outfitted for albacore. He'll take care of you.

I dont run cedars, I run six shooters with triple skirts or brooms. They key is to run all of the same thing so you get more triples and quads.

Did you go? I saw a few boats went out, but it looks like they went south prospecting for no fish. Good numbers reported last night north behind PT. Arena buoy for the guys splashing out of Noyo. Seems like the fish are heading south from where the were two weeks ago and where they found them yesterday. Bodega Canyon may be the right area after this next blow,,,gregg

Don't worry buddy from what I've heard everyone that ran from bodega and the gate ended up with a big goose egg. Hopefully we get em down here soon.
