I left solo this morning at 530 with a decent scoop of firecracker dean's from sd bay. I was greeted with sloppy south wind chop and decent sized swell running from 2 directions which made heading out a pain. Got to the color break around 645 and instantly found a nice kelp. Pulled up and threw a scoop of bait and the yellows exploded. I was able to get 3 quickly on the iron before they settled down. I finished off my limit with bait after that farming 4 due to the small hooks. I called out the numbers which were( 32 over 29) and headed west in search of tuna. About 5 miles west i found some dolphin and threw out the halco. I was bit within minutes by a decent little yellowfin. Got it to the boat quickly and got back on them for 2 more. After they stopped biting I slowly headed back in towards the beach but was unable to find anything else . Water was 74 and clean out west but green and 77 inside towards the 9. Find the color and temp break and find the fish good luck!
