Decided to try the Dorodo bite out of Newport. Unfortunately Bait Barge had no bait on Tuesday morning so we decided to troll and try make bait. Headed towards the 14 Mile Bank and saw about 5 small patties but no fish. Not many birds or bait on this trip! Hope others had better luck!

At the jetty entrance the wedge side has been best for me In the past use squid tipped Sabikis and some bread . Lots of Mack’s year round there in past years for me .

The worse thing about Newport is the parking is very limited for trailers. So what happens is all the asshats that go to the swim lagoon will park right in front of and behind your trailer and then its a total nightmare trying to get your trailer out of there. Ask me how I know. Happened to me once and I havent been back there since. You guys can have it. I watched some clown try and back his jet ski down the launch ramp for 20 minutes- He kept hitting the sides and getting sideways, it was commical. Bunch of duechebags there

You nailed it! I got boxed in a couple of weeks ago and had to make a 100 point turn to back out of the spot. They don't give a fuck about boat parking over there. However, Newport has the best eye candy of all of our local launch ramps!
