Wonder if it was a unarmed black tail?
On a serious note glad the trooper was ok

Good thing the Trooper won that one. Too many vacancies to fill as it is.

Looks like Eastern wa...maybe I90..so guessing it was a high speed impact. When I worked in kitittas county I saw some nasty car v big game collisions.

    Lighten up, Francis.

This was just a person driving along and a deer ran out in front of them. happens to be a trooper. If this has not happened to you, then awesome for you. it's happened to me and it didnt make a fucking difference if I was going the speed limit or way over.

I had not hit a deer in 35 years of driving, then driving to Vegas i hit 2 at the same time... totaled that van. Then a week later my buddy Joe was driving my GMC Yukon and hit an elk... totaled that one too.

He called me on the phone and said ... I see your 2 deer and raise you an elk... LOL

I used to dispatch for Kittcom way back when. Vehicle vs. Deer; usually everyone was ok except for the deer. Vehicle vs. Elk, not so much.

hehehehehehehe, I always tell my wife this when we are approaching a prius in the left lane on a hwy going slow. "Hold my beer and watch this, that little car's exhaust is going to cough, speed up, and merge over". Then as I get pretty close and she can still see the tail pipe, poof comes a cloud of smoke and then the prius pulls away and merges over. Driver probably pissed I made them use some petro!

Seriously, all true minus the "hold my beer".

Ryan, aka clockwork, aka, another new name, you should avoid trying to make funnies ref any LEO, USCG, etc., as your rants on them are prolific and well documented on WA BD. Please realize this and try not to slam someone for not seeing the humor... I didn't see your humor there either.
