Does anyone have a suggestion to store trolling gear? Looked at the Nomad roll technical bag but figured there was a better option.

Prefer Plano boxes. Unless you store your lures without hooks, then the roll ups are convenient. Or I keep my rapalas in their plastic boxes and then slide them in the roll ups.

My good old Albakore Lg. Bag has lockable trays with long bays . One holds 2 Cedar Plugs, 5-6 Trolling Feather Jigs . Have some Plano similar size boxes I can add or remove with smaller jigs and tackle that fit bag too. In winter I'd remove the trolling tray, add one with Heavy Jax/other rockfish jigs, weights.
Both have inserts to add or delete in each bay. FYI.

Those rolls are a really good option, it’s also nice they can be dunked and washed at the end of the day when you’d have to remove lures from boxes.

There’s also the lure bags made for surf fishermen. I have one that has two rows of 6 tubes and keep irons in them. Two irons per tube, one row heavy one light. Most deep divers will fit as well.
    This is similar

I usually keep anything rigged with a leader in a plastic bag so the leaders don't get tangled up with other stuff in my box. My jigs are able to fit in my regular tray style box ok for the most part, but yeah that dang Rapala magnum. Still not sure what to do about that thing. Probably just get a couple of those plastic hook covers so at least it's not a danger while being a pain in the ass
