FIGHT ON BABY!!!
Me too, but still fighting on!
Defensive battle of monumental proportions.
That was far and away the best game of the college bowl season this year
and the one thing I have learned in 50 plus years of watching the Rose Bowl either in person or on TV is that the Pac 8, Pac 10 or Pac 12 is very hard to beat in Pasadena regardless of rankings
That game was awesome
The Grand Daddy of them all.....Wow
Some of us were glad to see some scoring T.
That track meet turned into a marathon. Four and a half or five hour one. Props to both those teams for finishing the season strong and putting on a good show.
I know, scoring is what the fans want. Neither team would put those #s up against Bama. I thought Darnold lost composure in the 3rd quarter and would lose it. He plays way too hyper to succeed against a good D. He recovered and won, but Penn St. helped with some poor offensive play calling there at the end. I did have SC picked to win this.
Spoken by the man who's tOSU got shut out on the big stage.
Hell of a game but the good guys won. Ok, I'm biased! The Pac 12 better be on guard for the next season 'cuz USC looks dangerous!
Exactly why I stated that. All that scoring makes those three and outs become a distant memory.
Didn't really care who won, just wanted to see a good game, and we certainly got one.
There could be not one complaint about this game. It was, in my mind, the best bowl game, or for that matter any college games I have ever seen.
Both of those teams can hold their heads up high.
it was a good game ,and after 300 bowl games their should be at least one good one.
still trying to figure out why penn st. ran the same play twice at the end instead of going to overtime , maybe espn did not want to go to the crappy sugar bowl at halftime ?
