Hi Guys and Gals! It's been a long, exhausting two months aboard the Triton. We are finally wrapping the boat work up and she is really looking great. Over the past few months we have replaced all vital electrical wiring through out the vessel, including the Engine Room wiring. Cleaned up the galley with new countertops, tables, new flooring, new grill and fridges. New engine hatches installed to better protect the machinery. New decking and flooring in the bunk room. Full LP paint job over entire boat, including the bottom. Extensive Coast Guard exam on hull and top side, including pressure test of both fuel tanks. And the list goes on....

We plan on running the boat around this weekend to make sure the kinks are out then we will be fishing by the following weekend.

So far this season is starting out better than most in recent memory. The amount of Yellowtail at Catalina Island is amazing! These fish have just moved in and are starting to settle down all around the Island. Along with the yellows are good schools of Barracuda and the Calico Bass are now starting to bite. A decent volume of squid finally showed up on the coast which gives us a good chance of having live squid very often as long as it is there.

The crew aboard the Triton and the Gail Force truly believe this season is going to one of the best we have had in the past 10 years and hope you will be aboard to experience it with us!

Nice job on the boat. I love that LP paint. Nothing shines better. Good luck on the shakedown cruise.

Looks great. Many don't know how much work and money goes into such a project. What yard did you use for haul out? I didn't think there were any rail systems left in the area.
