    Hi everyone this wil be my first time going on a somewhat longrange trip and I kind of want everys input on what to do, not to do, what to bring and if my gear is good enough or any other suggestions. I know they have a tackle suggestion but would like to know what you guys think or should I just go with what I got and purchase what ever i need when im there.

    1-Penn Fathom40ld2 spooled with 80lb spectra on a HAX-X2H 40-100lb rating
    -yoyo/live bait/ flat fall
    2-Penn Fathom 25ld2 spooled with 65lb spectra top shot with 30lb on a HAX-820H 25-60lb rating
    -live bait
    3-Diawa Saltist 40h spooled with 65lb spectra top shot with 40lb on a HAX-909HJ 30-80lb rating
    -surface iorn,/lat fall/poppers.....ect.
    4-Shimano Tranx400HG spooled with 50lb spectra on a PSW-868MH 15-40lb rating
    -live bait
    5-TLD50 RSA with 100lb spectra top shot with 100lb on a Seeker 660XH-6'AR 40(60)100lb rating
    -yo/yo/flatfall/ live bait/ trolling/ what ever they tell me to set it up as........lol

    Combo 1 - 60# leaders for both bait, flat fall, and yoyo
    Combo 2 - bump this to 40# for live bait
    Combo 3 - no change, you're fine here
    Combo 4 - 20-30# leaders. My pref would be 25
    Combo 5 - trolling if you want to use your own or dropper loop duty at 80# but the rod is a little light for it.

    You seem to be set up just fine to me. How are you on terminal tackle?

    Fine tune your tackle the week before your trip. That way you will actually know better what fishies are out there that they are catching at that time.

    Intrepid?
    Bring a phone book to sit on for meals.
