Has anyone packed a 12A with 40lb Maxcuatro? 30lb MC? 30lb reg PPro?

    A 14A with 50lb MC? 40lb MC? 40lb PPro?

The 12A and 14A are rated for 330 and 450 yards of 30lb PPro, respectively, and I've seen a 12A take 325 yards of 50lb MC comfortably, so I'm curious what others have packed on.

Ideally looking to get about 400y on each, probably have to go to 50lb MC on the 14 and 30lb MC on the 12, but I'd rather do 40lb MC. The 30MC is tiny.

How close to the rim does the line go, do you have a pic if not too inconvenient? Shimano claims the 12 takes 270 yards of 40 and 330 of 30, so maybe 40 MC gets close to 400.

Why do.you need 400yds? I've fished my 12a for two years and never had capacity issues.

Don't need it, but I like the peace of mind. A few years ago a buddy of mine landed an 80lb opah on 12lb. Of course they had to chase it with the boat for over an hour, but if by some chance something similar were to happen, I'd like to give myself reasonable advantages towards success.
