I have the Bennett Self Leveling Tabs (SLT 10) that assist with jumping on plane and holding the bow down a bit. It’s very noticeable when I forget to pull the pin and deploy the spring loaded tab down into the water.
While you wouldn’t think it would help pulling water toys (skis, tubes, boards) it really does improve performance. No issues with the SLT10’s interfering with the transom mount transducer. Only issue is when I’m backing up the boat at the boat dock and harbor since the tabs are always down at slow speeds (trolling or less). The Suzuki DF200A with lean burn technology has my +/- 5k lb boat on plane in less than 2-3 seconds and holds the boat on plane at 3000 RPM which is where I get my best fuel burn #’s. Every boat regardless of size could benefit from them, IMO.
