    Saw that the Tribute spotted Bluefin tuna on the way back from a 1.5 day to Colonet. They did not hook any but he said another boat supposedly did. Very interesting news!!

    That's a roger! Had another confirmed sighting of bluefin from another boat heading back from colonet just yesterday!

    HA! Same last year. Remember being at Colonet Memorial Day Weekend on
    Condor, anchored on the hump at Colonet next to Excel, SA80, many others.
    Bluefin on the sonar for 2-3 days, gorging on red crabs, giving us the high hat.
    I think one boat got 2-3 to bite at 3am, all I remember. Stay tuned blue fans. LOL

    I was down at Colonet weekend of the 28th and saw the bluefin. They were crushing the enormous amount of sardines we were all dumping out trying to get the yellows to bite (was very slow on Saturday). I didn't hear of anyone hooking one but they were certainly there.

    try 112 miles! typically a 12 hour run, can go 160 miles in 12 hours on a sport boat!
