Tranx 300 low or high gear?

    looking to get a tranx 300 mainly for calicos..what are the pros to getting the lower gear ratio one or should I go with the higher gear?

    Personally its also easier for me to retrieve faster then it is to slow my self down reeling.

    For slow rolling swimbaits on the bottom the standard gear ratio is better. The HG is good for just about everything else depending on your fishing style.
