    Great report and pics!

Coming from Nor-Cal I'm most impressed by those nice whitefish and goats! (And obviously the YT!)

I would expect nothing less from the angler who "gaffs" Wahoo with pliers. :D

    Good one Deb. :appl:

The only beef I have with the Toro is the line up and dash to get bunks. If they could assign bunks in the office I think it would be a much more pleasurable experience. The last time I rode it, I was 4th in line. Right as we boat the 3 people in front of me make a dash to the bunk room and throw their baggage in several bunks "reserving" them for their buddies. I'm a younger dude and can deal with a shitty bunk, but I tried to get down early with the expectation of getting a halfway decent bunk. That experience chapped my ass a little bit. Otherwise everything else was good. It seems that the boats at peirpoint all operate somewhat on their own and that the office only sells tickets, as the office guy also had no clue what time the boat would be in that night.

I hear you...I have been lucky to get one of the middle row bunks where I can remove that divider and have my kid next to me and store all our stuff..There really are no bad bunks on that boat as far as I know.

I never sleep well on boats anyway..I usually just nap in the galley and up drinking coffee at 3 or 4 am :food-smiley-014: I don't wanna' miss anything LOL

I was the second person to board the biscuit once on a charter .... went down to get a bunk, and every bunk had a paper plate on it saying reserved. I ended up with a top level (way up) bunk. Never went back.

Years ago, Ray helped me catch my first white seabass..it went under the boat and to the other side and I had very light line on and I had given up hope on landing it in and Ray stayed next to me talking me through it and kept telling me "you're not going to lose it, keep reeling" after landing it, I went on catching limits of WSB and went out the following weekend and we caught limits again on his boat. He's always calm, kind, a class act for sure.

Did they take out some bunks? I used to fish with Ray in the late 80s and 90s, before "limited load" the boat could sleep 50+. They usually had the forward bunk room roped off, but never refused if you asked sleep there...

Also, didn't they add an RSW? Do they use it? Looks like the fish sat in sacks all day, and no tags.

Looks like an awesome time with the kids. Been wanting to take my kid on an over nighter. Will probably be on the Toro.

They still have the forward bunks..never asked to use them but like you said, they would probably let you...I actually prefer the upper bunks because there is a little more head room..not sure about the RSW..but we had some of our fish tonight and it was tasty.

Very kid friendly because of the limited load I think..there were 2 other kids on the boat when we went over the weekend and they also caught limits. This is my kid's favorite overnight boat.

Was this in the parking area that they give you permits for? wow that sucks..I have had my car broke in twice at Seaforth and I know others have also down there so I don't think it's just a Pierpoint issue. I think thieves target fish/marina landings because the bastards know the boats are out all night. I don't leave shit in my truck anymore.
