Boat limits apply people. Let's not assume. I just hope the Toro didn't filet all those for him.

haha we'll find out. maybe he caught all those ones but only kept his limit and gave the others to some other passengers. I'm not sure on an overnight trip if they get basically a 2 day limit permit or not. I know that happens with some long range boats (but this was just an overnighter)

I thought that everybody knew when you are on Sport boat the captain is Not going to risk getting a ticket because somebody wants to take undersize fish or over the limit there was 24 passengers and only 17 fish. But to answer your question yes only took two fish home the rest I give them away

Good tip for everybody right there.
If one guy IS catching fish. do what THAT guy is doing.
If the other guys ARENT getting bit, dont do what the other guys are doing.

there is a bunch of fish that should still be swimming. They will never grow to be real food.

Please don't think I care about the size of those tuna. I'd keep bluefin of that size all day, every day.
So what you guys are saying that regardless of him having his number on 5 fish, boat limits would apply? That makes sense. I guess it's what you walk off the boat with?
So if I have 8 calicos in my sack on a Catalina 3/4 day trip and we get boarded by DFG.....I mean W, as long as the boat is still under limit, there is no issue?
I guess I never gave it that much thought but thought boat limits meant one guy could go over limit but would then distribute the fish so he didn't have over the limit on the boat.

Sounds like you were bit on the retrieve on the flat fall....not the fall?

Your funny, I post pictures of trout bigger than that, in the year of the local cow bluefin it's embarrassing to post ten pound bluefin. Go attack someone who cares what you think.

Here is some salmon that make those tuna look like bonito, what's you point about letting fish get big?
