LOL How'd I get singled out? LOL I'm liking what I'm seeing in the 4 similar shots of 2011,12,13,14. Ever so gradual increase of volume of warmer water, arriving just a little sooner than the previous year. Maybe a week earlier arrival of our long fins!? Overall, very similar to last year.

Here's a possible bonus as well, just a thought not science: I looked at a long range forecast about a week or two ago of temps... it predicted less of a difference between night and day temps in comparison to historic data or averages on the coast. All I can think of as a cause is clouds...? But with more stable temps, this stability may mean just a little bit less wind. If this holds true, more salmon fishable days in June at WP.

I have always avoided fishing WP halibut in my boat due to extreme weather in May. Even charters cancel due to weather. I've been on them. Crossing my fingers this year!

I like reading the posts from you guys in Wa. they are always interesting. The two things that really stand out to me is that... you have the majority of the kicker thieves. and you guys have to deal with some fucked up weather conditions compared to what we have to deal with. I like our weather but we do have to deal with assholes in boats 20 miles off shore that shouldn't be 20 feet out of the bay, skippered by guys who shouldn't even be on the water. With your weather mother nature probably takes care of keeping those to a minimum... of course I could be wrong.... fools rush in.
