todos santos fishing

looking for fishing guides out of todos santos / cerritos beach area ?
suggestions on what we should target the last week of feb first week of march

You might dig through the old messages on here. There was a guy reporting regularly from Todos Santos, he did really well from shore.

I went there years ago on a kayak trip for three days. Fishing sucked badly the first day for our group. The good fishing was out of our range on the kayaks. I went down the beach from where we were camping and talked to one of the local commercial guys about taking me and two of my buddies out on his panga. He was game for $60. We filled the boat with rockfish.

I’ve seen a lot of pangas fishing the finger bank (long lining I think) that I presume would be out of Todos Santos.
You’d need to do some research and take your own gear and find someone willing to take you out. You might be a bit late for the striped marlin but they get huge numbers there in December/January and I’ve seen huge yellowfin (300+) there too.

Punta Lobos used to have pangas. Not sure what happened with that new resort they were building if the locals got pushed out?
