    Short Report
TJ Flats to the Rockpile Sat fish report 4-9-10

    Slow slow fishing....no tails :indabutt:
    Green water everywhere :It__s_Outta_Here:
Water conditons were nice today though :)
Even taco meat was tough today :p:
Lots of seals at north side of bird shit rock (middle gnds)
The only tails I heard were caught off of todos santos w/ the exception of 1 tail 2-3 miles south of the rockpile.
The info I got last night was 4 days old  ...so use fish dope period!
If you go, fish todos santos or dont go and save your fuel

    Long Report
I had gotten some scoop my reliable sources to go to the TJ flats near the bullring but that didnt work out...your friends of course are reliable sources, however, who they got it from may not be...the info was old news. So we were there at grey light and nada all the way down to the rockpile...the radio was soooo quiet. Only heard a few guys chatting thats all. To make a long story short, we fished the Rockpile til 11am for nothing...nada, zippo. not even a bottom fish...so we said screw it lets chk out the middle grnds...that only produced 2 whitefish and a sculpin. Tried the NW side of bird shit rock for nada and then hit the TJ flats on the way in...ugly green , pukey colored water.

On the way to the whislter, tried a spot I marked 2 yrs ago but couldnt find the hump. Went west of the whistler for 2 sand bass....finished the day only with 5 feesh. :p: It was pretty nice out there today and as always fun with the guys.

    Hi Mike,
Sorry to hear the Yellowtail fishing end up crappy. I would of thought yesterday was going to be productive. Let's hope the water clears up and they come up the line.

We were down there at the rockpile with you also. Everywhere was DEAD! Even for bottom feeders. All our cods spots sucked. Beats working though. Best spot of the day was at the mouth of the bay for 2 nice sandies.

    Hey Mike,
Sorry to hear that the fishing sucked but think of it as putting your dues in for the next time.
