    I’m betting those 40 breeders would have laid enough eggs or furtilzed enough eggs to replace every “baby” that was taken this season.

    the old argument, kill the breeders, and kill the stock. Kill the babies and kill the future breeders. Lol

    I see your point.
    I think fish this size have already spawned a few times. Maybe many times. A baby hasn’t.
    These were caught on a paddy while a sport boat took 200 of them.

    I can't believe I'm posting again.

    I counted about 35+ fish at work today, all about 35-40 lbs (guess). These F ers bred a couple of seasons and were a hell of a fight. Most likely from a multiday trip.

    How bad ass is this picture with the giant truck to boot?

    Dare to post a picture of your baby yellows ever again.

    Trucks are easy to come by - that stack of YT not so much @ least in the americas.

    Rats, it doesn't matter how much you payed, or how often you get out. there's a reason you rail bounce, to release. There's no meat on those minnows, and it's shit once it's frozen anyway. Based on growth rate dodo and YT regs should be switched. Perfect example of poor DFW management based more on economic value than science.
