Our luck continues. Went out Thursday a week after hearing the Otaru were biting. Didn't know where so thought I would go and look, hopefully find them. Dropped line about 12 miles out and just followed the whites all heading out. At about 18 miles find first pile. Work our way into running all our Ahi lures hoping for an early bite. First pass Otaru. Next pass rigger slams down and reel is singing the song. Fight for about 15 minutes with over half the spool straight down. All of a sudden feel the slack. Unbutton. Set back up and look for the pile. Nothing for a while then come back to area and find a pile. Walk inside and slammed again. This time stays on and get an Ahi in the boat. Set back up and piles everywhere and by boats everywhere too. Follow big pile with everyone else no luck so go opposite direction. After that find the Otaru piles and start hooking. So was another good day for Jordon and I KIMG0371.jpg KIMG0369.jpg
