What is everyone's take on Seigler Reels (Formally known as Release Reels and Truth Reels)?

Just curious, have you heard of them before? Have you fished them before? What are your thoughts? TIA

I have two large game. Almost as nice as Accurate. I like Accurate lever drag more, but they are still really good. Great drag, nice handles.

Friends who own them have nothing but good things to say about their lever drags. Solid reels with lifetime warranty. I'm a star drag fan and that little SS and it's low profile is one I've been considering. Wish they made one a bit bigger. Clamped to a Thrasher RAW 81 or the TRMF-76 blank...Hmm?!?

We’re building a Thrasher RAW 8105 right now that’ll be paired up with a SEigler SS reel and we’ll be on a 1.5 day later in June. I’ll update on how it handles. Although I’m not worried it’ll be fine

I had a Truth SG...great reel. I had it on a Black Diamond 808....but I’m a star drag guy and went back to my 14a. But for a lever drag it is a great reel.

I love them. I have a Truth SS (small star), and a Seigler SGN (small game narrow). I have caught 2 personal best yellowtail both at 36lbs off my kayak with each of them. Great look, durability, powerful drag, lifetime warranty, easy to work on, made in the USA. Wes Seigler is a stand up owner. He is making an SGN star right now. I just returned from an overnight on the Pacific Queen out of San Diego yesterday and landed 2 bluefin tuna with his compact SGN. It is a lever drag but casts excellent. I was able to cast my sardine out to the boil and foamers and hook up immediately.

Love the reels, currently own sgn, sg, lg, lgn, and ss. Out of all of them i like the LGN with the billfish handle (shorted crank arm). It’s a narrow lg. All the lever drag reels are simple to take apart and do maintenance on them. I don’t have any issues calling them for anything from ordering to service questions.

They are coming out with a SGN (SG Narrow) Star Drag and LGN (LG Narrow) Star Drag soon.

My brother has the SGN lever and it still casts bait pretty good.

I have a SEIGLER SS and had it Magged with PMR Bespoke Custom Supermag....It cast like crazy and imho better than the Seigler SM.

Also have a Blackout SEIGLER SGN paired with Tsunami Slow Pitch Trophy Rod and a Sweet Combo....just nailed a Nice Calico on a Jig....

Looks like the conventional reels r1 speed. Correct? Are there guys marketing 3-speed reels here now.? Looks like they make an interesting high end fly reel with a livre 2 adjust the drag on the kranks sid. Nice innovation but I'm lost in to able reels.
