    But the escape was good....

    Just finished 5 days snooping around the eastside. Good times, but I've never seen the conditions so dry. Fortunately, the water was still 60-62 degrees in the spots I visited. It was a real good workout for the 1 wt. Hopefully, the Sierra's receive some snow soon.

    Yes, stream and river flows are low, and lakes are down, too. It was one of the driest winters I can recall in the 30 + years we've been up here. Hoping for a 100% + snowpack by next spring.

    Gorgeous colors on those native fish. Were you down on the San Joaquin for some of that?
