My brother Rock wanted to target the local Yellowfin Tuna bite so the three brothers headed to the middle and inside of the 371 and the 302. We found a patty first thing and got six nice dorados before we gave the patty away to find the tuna. I was snake bit until 12 noon when we finally found them. Rock hooks up first and then I go five for five before I notice I forgot to turn on the video camera's. The long video will come up tomorrow. This is a short catch and release tuna from yesterday after we bloodied the boat again this time with the video going. I waved the legend in and all of a sudden the passengers started screaming hook up, fresh one. That's some of the coolest things to see.

How do you locate this school? Bird school, jig strike, meter mark or kelp patty? Just curious, I'm going tomorrow.

We stopped on tern birds over breaking Skipjack Tuna. After we hooked one skipjack it turned into Yellowfin Tuna for two hours.

I almost went N to the 302, but went SSE instead after the 371. Would have been fun if we tangled lines out there!

Sounds like you were in the same area as the boat that capsized. Did you hear about that? Nice report as always. Thanks!
