That's too cool. My very first skiff was a 1972 Skipjack 24 Open Cuddy. Bought it used for $6500 in 1985. I was so hard on my equipment back then that a lesser skiff would have likely killed me more than a couple times. :) I took a 15' rouge wave in that boat....I love that boat. Can't wait to read the next chapter!!!

Looking at older Skipjacks I'm always amazed at how well they hold up, structurally and cosmetically.

When you look around on an older Skippy all you see is quality, all this was created as this article states "with no boat building experience".
