Beautiful day on the ocean…flat calm, hot and humid. Made macs at the north side of the MB jetty easily. Worked the 302 zone all day. Found lots of paddies and stopped on all of the. only one produced 2 dodos. And the 2 jig strikes on yft. off dolphins. Water was 74 to 76 and very clean. Everyone on the radio was complaining. I was happy just to be out!
Thanks to Josh, James, DR & DP for the laughs and good times.

God, don't tell me we're naming lures now.

I already name my rod and reel setups. God help my OCD.

In ancient Hawaii, all the lures that actually caught fish had names. And it was kapu (taboo) to piss off the back of the boat while they were in the water. You had to pull them in, piss, then resume fishing. Respect !

Nice! Dig those close up shots of such a beautiful fish. The colors are intense! Good job on getting a couple.
