I want to thank Jerry for the give aways on our now defunct 7 day trip. I felt guilty and tried to give back all the cool stuff he handed out but Jerry said no, class guy.
As far as the trip goes, I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. After the trip from hell last month on the SG I was ready to try a new clean boat. Boat was clean and beautiful, crew was one of the friendliest I've experienced... like I said, just can't wrap my head around it.
A sincere thanks to Jerry...:rockin: Wish we all could have tried out the new jigs.

Wow Rick, double black cloud and it's only June. You might want to let the rest of us know when your next trip is so we can avoid it:D.

That is a bummer, Rick! Hang in there...do this long enough and everything happens eventually. Hop on another trip. I would fish with you again anytime!

It was a pleasure meeting you too Rick. The group we had was a good vibe. I felt it almost instantly after we boarded. I hope to fish with you someday in the near future.

Any questions, you have my email.

    Thanks Jeff, likewise...
I already have a 3 day and a 16 day booked, I'll keep them to myself so I don't scare people away.

Though I've had two crappy trips in a row now (third time will be the charm ) the way the two boats handled the problems was night and day. Captain of the Intrepid called everyone to the galley after a couple hours of trouble shooting and an hour to work up the courage to tell everyone we were screwed. He explained everything that had happened and told us the office would do their best to make it right. On the other boat, I only saw a glimpse of the Captain for two days (which surprised me, he's normally not like that), no one explained what was going on, and no one was in front of making it right.
It sucks that I was pulling on weeds this morning instead of yellowtail and I really feel for the guys that came from out of town but the boat did their best under the circumstances.
    And, Jerry was awesome!

Something that affected their steering, apparently vital to moving the boat. ;)
