Well, its about time we can get back to; higher taxes, $5.00 a gallon gasoline, more regulations, more marine closures, U.S.A. loss of energy independence just to name a few...plus we can blame Trump from now on for everything wronge in America ..enjoy
'86 Winchester,
Heckuva rifle. My granddad (born in the late 1800s) had one he had gotten in a trade for a steer. My dad had it for a while, but lost it in a poker game in the late 1950s. I got to see it in 1955 when we visited my grandad on his Texas ranch....soon to be lost to bank when he couldn't pay the mortgage. (Yeah, my family history ain't the most successful.)

But to the point. This thread isn't about what you think about Biden or what you believe will happen during his presidency. It's about the behavior of the President of the US and his role in the events that occurred in Washington today.

What are your thoughts about that?
Are you as disappointed and sad about it as I am? Or do you think that all of the rioters were actually liberal socialist commies in disquise as poster BlackisBack thinks?

Joe will be the weakest president yet. Other countries will walk all over him. He probably won’t even be able to finish off his term leaving a black woman in charge. Good Lord !! What an even bigger mess in the making !
And the next in order would be Pelosi, If someone takes those two out. You want to talk about a walking abortion, Just look at Nancy.

I think there are multi multi millions of Trump supporters who are law abiding citizen, but you always have that 10% and I guess you and others can throw all Trump supporters into the 10% basket....and yes, I do not believe the people who entered the White house were actual Trump supporters. What will you say when it comes out the woman shot was not a Trump supporters...I have not always agreed with some of the things Trump has said..we will see the truth when the dust settles...

Are you disappointed with the anti-Trump riots? Or do you think they were Trump supporters?
When protests from EITHER side are not violent, I am not at all bothered by them. I am of the opinion that the most of the violent riots to which you are referring were not primarily about Trump, but about the racial problems this country had this year (often starting with police shootings of black people). In those protests, there WERE some anti Trump signs and protesters, but they were not the majority. I suspect, but do not know, that they were likely from the far left fringe groups. There certainly appeared to be some left wackos in those riots.....but they were NOT supported or motivated by the President. (In contrast to his support of right wackos.)

The violence that occurred in those protests was inexcusable. I believe in the equality of all people before the law, and I understand (I think) the frustration of black Americans to bias in the current system. But the violence that occurred is just plain wrong. And the people/groups that instigated it should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

The point of the original post here was that the President of the USA was a major cause of the violence at the Capitol today. That is just beyond anything that has happened in our country. I would never, never have imagined that the President of our country could say things like that.

You asked a polite question, and I tried to answer it in kind.

So now the protesters were actually not Trump supporters, now the protest was rigged.

I'm not apologizing for anything..do you know exactly what happened at the White House today? What people were involved? Fact is your anti-trump....so be it.

If you are not young and full of testosterone, then I feel even more sorry for you. Your first post was not civil, correct, or as I said, worth replying to.

I suspect that compared to me, you likely are young. But you are absolutely correct in saying that age in itself, does not lead to wisdom. It does often lead to more knowledge and often to more common sense, but the application of those in thoughtful ways is not guaranteed simply by being older.
Oldtimer, I agree with much of your sentiment, especially that Bonito is a favorite fish, but you need to understand that we all know what happened and the ones that feel that they benefited from the election fraud are just to happy with the result to admit it...those that aren't are justified in their anger...democracy died today...and if there is a civil war, then those that want it to live are doing what they feel they must.

Who’s falling for the propaganda now? That dude is a well-known QAnon figure, not Antifa. He’s a hard-core Trump supporter.

After what we've already seen in other threads related to politics i can't believe anybody could be dumb enough to start another one. It's amusing how months and months of rioting don't bother some people but one day of it offended somebody enough to start this thread.

Old timer thank you for a thoughtful post. Thanks for not responding by calling others names even though some on here that is their first reaction to those who don't agree with them. I am talking about both sides.

I have many friends who are Republicans who have bought into Trump's lies about voter fraud. I just tell them when they can show me a court case that shows significant voter fraud enough to overturn the election I will talk to them about it. I am sick and tired of hearing conspiracy theories. They haven't talked to me about this since because there aren't any court cases that prove significant voter fraud. Which a good thing in that it probably preserves our friendship.

Just so you know I am not a democrat. I am an independent! I don't like the far right or the far left. I do admit I don't like Trump and I am glad he will soon be gone!

I’m a Trump supporter. I don’t excuse anything. Fuck these rioters. They should be put in jail.

But fuck you , you mother fucking hypocrite that didn’t have any balls to say shit when all the liberal (democratic) were burning down the country a few months ago over bullshit BLM nonsense.

Trust me, I know. If Trump had won the country would be on fire. We will survive a few assholes in DC.
