I have three terez rods. All medium. One broke on me. I love em but they are weak. Spend the money somewhere else. I run an Avet SX raptor, SXJ raptor, and Talica 12.

Their warranty is now pretty much shit. One year warranty. That's it. Look into United Composites.

I like to take care of my gear as well and just wondered if anyone uses a clean cotton towel to dry their rods after rinsing them off?

The rods are not weak, they do what they were designed for.I hate braid on most rods. The Terez are built to fish braid and do a great job. They like a lot of high content grafite do like being high sticked and because of the lightness are subject to getting dinged being dropped or hit with jigs.Guys that like heavy walled and stiff butt section rods usually don't like the Terez.JMO,Tom

Awesome rods just the rust issue is annoying but I think they fixed it in the new stuff

i have all custom rods and a lot of shimano reels. i did the shimano 10 day on the RP this year and used some of the gear Jon brought. i was very impressed with the terez rods casting ability and fish fighting ability . they work really well with shimano reels. after the trip i bought a TZC-80MH and a TZC-80H. can't wait to use them
