IMO everything from 20# to 80#….at least 3-40# outfits……to include a jig stick, bait outfit and yo yo……8 to 10 outfits cause there is no predicting what you will be fishing for…...

I WOULD ALSO ADD A 20LB. SET. EVERY TRIP I HAVE BEEN ON UP TO 10 DAYS HAVE ALWAYS STOPPED AT CEDROS. ABOUT HALF THE TRIPS THERE WERE FOR CALICO BASS AND OR HALIBUT.

Your main live bait rod will be 40# (60 lb spectra, short top shot), yo-yo 50#(fast reel), dropper loop 80#(also a troller) 30# for bait and bass.

Sardines 3/0 to 5/0

Mackerel 5/0 to 7/0

1 oz egg sinkers

6 to 12 oz torpedo sinkers

Salas 6X and 6X jr. Assorted colors

Optional... 40 to 50# surface jig rod with 7X and 45 light jigs. 15# rod for bass and smaller fish.

Any other necessities can be bought on the boat. Each boat has tackle suggestions that you can check but a 7 day trip can get in to a whole lot of different stuff...
