Cleared Point Loma at 5:00 a.m. and made it to our starting point by about 7:00. Started looking around for the BFT but didn't meter any most of the day. Found a trio of fish late in the afternoon, but they're didn't come up to eat the dead flying fish.

My friend managed a couple of tuna between 5:30-6:00 p.m. Both on a flylined sardine while we had the kit up and the dead flying fish out. Those two were caught here:

Great catch brother. Nice fish....and picts. The interesting thing here is the stomach contents. What type of baby fish (rockfish? ) is that? It again demonstrates that tuna are a fish of "opportunity". For jigs....."match the hatch"??? My first thought when I saw the stomach contents.
