In route to little hoquiam with the cap/liner/cabin mold. We’re not really using the liner as it’s getting a walk around cabin, but this gives us the entire gunnel cap.
Extension fiberglass is complete. Lots of sanding and fairing.

So the boat has bulkheads, stringers, and a transom.

deck will be built in the coming weeks. Fuel tanks as well.

house and cap molds are waxed and ready.

house mold has been modified to accept a large one piece reverse slant windshield like the newer north river walkarounds. Also makes it easier to narrow the cab for this application.

Will there be much or any sleeping areas. After doing a little over night fishing with Oldschool for tunas, I really like the idea to be able to comfortably stay a few nights out on the ocean. Cool build for sure.

Not a lot to update in picture wise. They are building parts. House is skinned out, back deck is built, The in house fabricator just finished a big mast and is finnaly on to my fuel tanks and bracket. My guess is the cap will get built this coming week as well.

most of the Furuno electronics are ordered and arriving and I have confirmation of engines in late September.

which one of you guys wants the next one? 30 or 36ft? Pilot house or walkaround? Diesel shafts or outboards?

It will have a dff3d with a B54 running to timezero for mappingPBG. Also will have a 2kw wide cone chirp R109LHW

leaning towards a Koden 6000BB for finding tuna. All depends on how blown out my budget gets, and how many lights I put up this winter.

Assembly has started this week. All the components are built.

house is done and narrowed 10 inches.

bracket is done and welded out.

fuel tanks are done and tested.

Rear deck is built.

Pictures are from last Wednesday. assembly started this week. It should look like a boat by the end of September

Glad to hear it Patrick. How many rod holders are there gonna be on her? When will you think she will go for her Deflowering? Are going for bling or functional? Burnewiin plastic or crown her with SS. Or get Aluminum and be done with it?

I was at little Hoquiam yesterday.
Progress is as follows.

house is done, lid on.
bracket is done.
1 fuel tank done, 2nd is almost there.

Awl-grip paint colors are picked out.

Dark gray on hull and decks

white on the house

turquoise on the brow.

if little hoquiam has a flaw, it’s being to busy with not enough personnel. It’s all downhill once the fuel tanks are done. They still say late October. It’s really just a matter of glueing it together after the tanks are done.
