State room or bunk room on Pacific Queen?

    Going out for an overnight trip on the pacific queen tonight with my dad. What's better sleeping arrangements a state room or the normal bunk room?

    If they give you a choice I've always picked one of the staterooms in the stern. There are a few down there and you get your own shower and bathroom.
    Been a few years since I've been on the boat so things may have changed........
