Have a 2010 Century 18' CC with a Yamaha 115 4 stroke. Had the boat out Saturday and the Speedo is stuck at 21. Help! Where do I look for a clog or how do I fix the problem. Boat is in perfect shape with 180 hours on it.

More than likely there is salt or a piece of kelp stuffed into the pitot tube opening. (I am assuming you are talking about a mechanical gauge). There are two possibilities where the opening is at, in the gearcase or an external pitot tube mounted on the transom projecting down into the water. Look on the leading edge of the gearcase below the cavitation plate. You will see a small hole that you should be able to shove a piece of 40 or 50 pound line into to clear the obstruction. SAme thing for the external pitot tube if you have one. Also sometimes just a good blast from a freshwater hose into these holes will cure the problem.

    Good luck.

if it's plugged, check by removing the tubing from the back of the gauge. if the lines plugged the guage will zero out, if not, the guage is messed up.if the tubing is clogged smoewhere, i'd blow air from the guage back through the tubing to clear it.

Imnot sure how similar the legs will be but I had the same thing on a 115 saltwater series.
Took the tube off at the dash end and blew air down it. Didnt help.
I looked further and found wood stuck in the pick up (leading edge of the leg). I had to drill it out with a fine drill bit.
    That did the job.
