Been thinking about it.... Was hoping to hear some reports on the action picking back up this week but I haven’t heard much of anything. Temp break looks somewhat similar to where it’s been around the 125. What are you thinking/seeing? Could just turn it into the years last hurrah for salmon. Either way I’ll be there on Saturday

Sw to 30/30 and then west
    Probably prospect on the way
There is an interesting cloro break close in at 36/52 I’ll probably check out on my way south

    Rod- You are dedicated.
Rod you are a determined tuna hunter, hope you find em this trip. The wind does not look like it is going to make things easy for you.

Better than siting on the couch watching TV:)

The wind will pick up in the afternoon, it did last Saturday too, it was an interesting run home:)

I’ll keep you all posted but I’ll tell you right now I ain’t running to Tillamook ha ha

My boats got longer legs than I do! Autopilot or not I’m too old for that shit, ha ha

To be honest I already have enough in the freezer to last till next year, I’m just a tuna fisherman, it’s a fishery that we can live and tell stories about, I’d say tell them to my grandchildren but hell, he’s going with me Saturday:)

buddy launched & ran 180 miles RT (including trolling time) from Westport today. They had 1 tuna to show for it. They could not locate the fish & came back frustrated as the tuna are simply not around

heard charters went to 45.50 125.20, plugged. 97 miles from the hole in the jetty. Not me on Saturday with a worsening window. Don't be that guy calling the CG. Be Safe!

    Fishing Salmon on Saturday.

Launch from Seaside. Close the gap. Nice short run to the tuners.

This seems like the best option. Put the miles on the truck/trailer.

Does a guy need an OR license to fish for, catch, and land tuna from an OR port?

Ok, I am getting conflicting reports. On here nobody is catching anything but when I call the charter they say the limited the boat yesterday. Getting concerned I might be told a story from the charter guys.

The rumor is that yes they found them yesterday and filled the boat but it has been slow the rest of the week. That report came from a seagull I talk to on the dock
