Lady luck attached another bean at the end of my line. Also got five mostly hand size BSP (and I have small hands ). Two of the perch flopped onto the sand when I set the hook they bit so close in. This was just before high tide.

BTW for you skiff dudes, there seems to be a bit of life in the Topanga to Malibu area. Water color pretty good and some signs of life. Few terns and pelicans diving, one pretty big bird school that was going apeshit for about 20 minutes. Some pods of feeding dolphins with birds on them too. That could be all there is, but quien sabe, y'know? Could be a mackerel or a pencil baron out there with your name on it. BTW too, water color at Corral Beach farther west was grayish brownish green, yuck.

    Good fishin'!

Nice fish! Is that a corbina or a white croaker?
