    What a sight to see to watch a huge tuna explode on your bait. Congrats! What a catch.

    Watching them eat near the boat is crazy. Watching them not eat the offered baits thrown at them is part of the thrill. We've had 150 to 200lb+ fish crash on bait and have nothing to do with anything we've tossed at them.

    Great report, great photos, but a few questions: what did she weigh? I used to see guys using a harness, but not anymore. Now it is rail rods, handing the rod off to 2 or more guys--is the harness not in favor anymore? Last, I think yours is the smallest boat I have seen take a big blue fin. Do you feel that 23 footer was safe for the job--and how did you get her aboard-2 or 3 gaffs.
