We should definitely start a war with everyone who provokes us.

Even just perceived slights, like a broken down boat drifting into their waters.

We got everyone back in a couple hours.

Darn, it looks like diplomacy worked.... Too bad we couldn't just start a war, instead

I learned the premise of the story years ago.

Accidentally lose ball into neighbor's yard.

Apologize to neighbor, get ball back.

    Carry on with life.

Anyone know if the boats that captured our folks were flying under Iranian flags or came barreling down on our war vessels incognito?

What's interesting to me is if we were to board a foreign military ship/boat as the cg, it's considered an act of war. How's this different?

I wish it was as simple and straight-forward as some portray it.....you just don't open up on an Iranian boat, headed toward you, while in their waters.

It was a training mission gone bad...hell this could be the first time alot of these pimple poppers were on a boat like that. Not like these guys are hardened Navy Seals.....As we all know, shit happens out on the open sea.

If some Chi-Com POS rolled up in our waters and started shooting at our boats that were sent out to investigate, we'd smoke them all DEAD.

In my mind (if it was a real "accident"), our boys kept their heads and ~20 families are grateful they did....too much unnecessary waste in this world......

That video illustrates why Navy boats don't have In-Deck Fish Boxes.....
