Requested by a friend, to see examples of what I have, •First- one on the top or left is a custom Roddy Root Beer Power Master 7', thicker than a 4X. •Second, a Truline OG1580 custom 7'7", custom wrapped by me. I got the blank (with Gil Buso) from Jim Trilikes in the early 90's, an old blank he had stored. •Third, an great wrap of a 7' OG 1580 custom Delux Truline by Yo's early 80's. •Forth, An old Truline VBG7, butt cut to 6'' for fishing school tuna by a captain 35yrs ago. Nice bend!! 10 guides! •Fifth, a Truline Bor36, wrapped by Bobs. West LA. •Sixth, a Truline B036, wrapped by Yo's in "84, I restored it, so it can be fished. •Seventh, my Tiger 6X, wrapped by me in 2004.Blank I've had for YEARS. Yes, it just says "6X". Another batch here: 2nd group:•1: C6X1 Octy 7', John Collins specially made, and awarded to the winner of a Malibu Pier Halibut contest in the early '60's as told by the previous owner. •2 Red?purple 4X •3 Roddy Super 8-8 I fished it then restored it, rewrapped ('96) it with all stickers intact and new Carboloys, as it originally had. •4 interesting BORD8 also said B39 on the butt. By far, my favorite D8 for fishin' YTail! •5 old D8 •6 Chocolate D8 red and white set, with the •7Carmel 5XF75 I extended, to make it about 9'(Not finished). •8 Carmel 36 8'6" slightly extended. •9 Dave Bell's personal 36, now mine.
