here are some pics of the first rod i've done on my homebuilt rod wrapper . all batson components,rclb70l blank, s.s. xud guides , black aluminum reel seat. also my first try at tiger wrap, found it much easier than 4 sided, four corner diamonds . for those that have'nt bought the magazine with the how too get it while you can . it's a very easy way to wrap a good looking rod fast.

You got it right. Scott has really helped a lot of people dress up their rods and I hope he is proud of what he has done for the rodbuilding community. The technique is great for doing the wrap but keeping it tight and a good finish belongs to you. Great job.

thanks to everyone for the kind words, have not yet made the motor/chuck assembly , that was turned by hand. i may just bite the bullet and buy a chuck and make the rod clamps adjustable . does anyone have a old chuck they want to sell? ken , the colors used were ice blue, silver, electric blue and black .
