So Cal Local 8 plait to chain resplice?

Hey all... my splice on my rode is done. Need to resplice from chain to 8 plait.
Not sure I want to tackle myself on a used rode -- does anyone have a recommendation for a place in so cal that offers the service? Really dont want to ship the thing...

I had a local guy do one for me but the splice was too thick to go thru my windless.Hope someone has a good one.Tom

Basically any sail rigging shop should be able to knock that out with ease.

You can take it to any west marine with a rigging dept. In so cal that means Newport and San Diego. Not sure if there are more. How old is the rode?

Honestly I dont know... Came with the boat... I think that the chain is the wrong kind for the gypsy too.
