Aside from the usual jerky and trail mix, what snacks do you bring on fishing trips? I need some new ideas. I often bring a small lunch sized soft cooler with me.

I like to cut up a cantelope or watermelon the night before, add grapes, apple slices, and raisins. Yogurt. Trader Joe's has great snacks also.

Vintage MRE's. 10 years plus. The little Tabasco's are all dried up and the peanut butter has turned gray. Haven't gotten sick yet and they either fill me up or make it so I'm not inclined to eat. On the upside, the little heaters are pretty neat and the MRE's come with chicklets.

KFC original recipe is my dream food out there.
