Well, that is what I was reduced too Saturday morning.

Went out with Vince to target our local bass Saturday morning. Metal was used until late in the day when I had to break mine off.

Water temp dropped and the bite slowed a bit but still good. Enough to keep us entertained.

First to 10 fish wins. We have been doing that since I started fishing with Vince back in 2003.

Capt. with a nice clean sandoval.

I moved ahead early on with a 4-2 lead and exclaimed, "Total Domination!"

Then my hooks turned to rubber and Vince went on a 7-0 run. After a while I would yell, "SPIT IT!" when he hooked up. Only worked once.

Then it was my turn with a 4-0 run.

The False Halibut 5lb Jackpot Calicock w/ missing half tail due to seal who thought it was still lobster season and wanted food from us.

Then Vince left me in the dust.

Finished up early since the wind decided to blow.

Not before Vince pulled in #13 and yelled back at me, "SPIT THIS BEEEOTCH!"

    Vince, #13 & Two-Lips.

I ended the morning with 9 fish and told Vince I had a place for him to plant his Two-Lips once we got off the boat.

    Vince - 13
    Me - 9

Thanks for another great time Vinnie!

Reply to: "a sandbass counts as much as a calico?"

Only on Saturday mornings w/ partly cloudy skies and a light NNE wind blowing switching to a sunny early morning and winds from the WSW at 15mph.
