Last night, on Netflix, I came across the program "Slow TV Salmon Fishing".

7 hours and 23 minutes of opening day Atlantic Salmon fishing on Norway's Gaula River.

A few things I noticed:

They dress better than me.
They catch some pretty big fish in their waders. (How those fish get into the waders, I'll never know.)
They bonk fish on the head and cut the gills too.
Shore lunch might include crab legs and raw beef.

If you are looking for something to put on the screen that is relaxing and filled with beautiful scenery, this might be it.

Slow TV is really taking off in Norway. The shows are many hours long and are focused on really dull stuff -- like sheep grazing. But those Norwegians (my ancestry) eat it up.
We are used to non stop action.

This is definitely a different program.

"The oxen are slow, but the earth is patient."

Maybe something to learn here?

7 hrs 23 minutes is perfect as they would probably be able to capture our entire area 9 fishing season next summer.
