Slow Pitch Flat Fall & Knife Jigs

I was tired of two or three expensive brands at the local Turner's which is still 27 miles from our rancho. Shopping Online and put together a catalog of available jigs and prices since the Bluefin Tuna seem to eat these things. Plain lead is lifeless. Figure 150g about $3. 300g $4-5. Add 25% for shipping lead from Asia and 7% sales tax for living in California. Here's a few from 60 to 600g, lots of glow, 3D and pretty colors. I was bored. Nothing is to scale.

The 150g casts like a bullet too. Chatting with one of the sellers and found out that shipping is the same $53.90 for up to 21 Kg (46 lbs) of jigs. She said my order was only 6.5 kilos and I should add a bunch more. Everyone needs 46 lbs of flatfalls, snipers, and knife jigs, don't they?

Seventy jigs online is the same price as fifteen jigs on Amazon. The $53 is chump change compared to the markup. Same exact jig. Look familiar? 300g $5.10

It makes sense if you’re making a small side hustle out of it, trying them out and selling to friends or fellow BDers.
Many product on the packaging even state material sourced in “insert country here” and assembled in china or just made in china.

I ordered 74 by the time I was done. Not sure what the weight will end up being, but savings in itself should pay for the fuel on a few trips out to the blue to test them.

The $250 assotment pack plus the $53 shipping delivered to the door. Shipping and the price of gasoline to drive to Island Tackle are within a few dollars of each other, 160 miles round trip plus lunch plus 4 hours of LA traffic.

There is a difference between product quality of products from international Free world companies that use Chinese manufacturing, vs. pure Chinese product chains. Especially when the Chinese company clones a free world product. So, I’m curious how they worked out for ya???
