Launched Davies at 6 and got bait at nachos because the plan was to hit up cat for some yellers. Decent 5-6” sardines that lasted pretty much all day. Decided to stay local instead to mess around with the cuda because we just wanted the surface action. Basically used the dines for chum and it was wide open cuda every cast from 9ish-2(even later if we had stayed) water 66°, dirty green. Metered bait everywhere as well as cudas...get away from the fleet and find ur own fish!

What worked: green/chrome snipers any size, Tady 45, 9, C in blue/white, scrambled egg, black/white, Salas 7x scrambled egg.

What didn’t work: everything worked it was just a matter of retrieve speed. For me it was medium to slow on the surface...

Poached 30 and release just as many. Big flip family likes to eat anything that swims so please don’t judge or call ice

Talked to some olive crest sponsors on the wash and they were cool!

Not really, just retrieved as soon as it hit. Slow to medium retrieve just fast enough to kick

Cudas are a blast to fish for, love it when they pop out of the water hitting the bait.
    Nice report.

When snot sticks go on the chew, they will eat anything.
They will bite any color plug, fin bait and squid. Not too discriminate at 25 mph.
